I wish I could say that I had over hyped it and it was only disappointed because of my imagination, but I can’t. Red’s True Barbecue fails to live up to its hype, which in my opinion it has no reason for in the first place.

Often there are so many reasons to avoid Oxford Street but now, finally, there is a jolly good reason to go.
Brew is in a crowded market, but it's offerings make for a welcome change from the now mundane offerings of many other places. For those wanting a quick in and out meal, you are likely to be waiting a long time for a table as each location besides the one in Putney are in extremely small venues. However on the off chance you catch it on a quiet day, pop in, it's definitely worth it.
In such a crowded market Hot-Box stands out and I think that is saying something, something impressive enough to forgive a slightly limp sweet potato fry.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Every now and then an opportunity comes along to break out of my South West London bubble and experience more of what London, and the World has to offer. My most recent brunch was just that opportunity. Soph and I made the long journey from Clapham Junction to Tower Hill looking for Cau in St Katharine Docks.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ If you find yourself on High Street Kensington tired from shopping, stomach rumbling, patience wearing thin, make your way to Kensington Church street and your salvation awaits.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Who likes to queue for their food? Unsurprisingly not that many people. Yet more and more restaurant offer a no booking policy forcing you to allow an hour queue time into your dinner plans, or find somewhere else to eat. I credit Meat Liquor with the creation of this phenomenon and it pains me to say that I have queued for this restaurant more than twice.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Take a short walk away from Notting Hill Gate, towards Bayswater, and before long you will stumble across a little piece of the countryside in the centre of London.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Before long you will happen upon a black fronted restaurant with neon frescos and lights adorning the inside. Extremely popular with locals for its fantastic no fuss Mexican food and upbeat atmosphere, Crazy Homies serves as not only a place to enjoy a great dinner, but also a place to begin a great night.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Like everything at this popular London eatery the name seems to have been carefully chosen to reflect the cuisine on offer. This is Japanese tapas, a menu made of delicious small plates designed to share and inspire.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Great pubs are becoming harder to find in London. Cheap supermarket alcohol has seen to it that many can simply not afford to stay open. For the initiated in South West London The Ship bucks the trend, harkening back to a simpler drunker time.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Bens Canteen has fast become a Sunday brunch staple of my and seemingly the rest of Battersea's weekend.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I spend as much time as possible eating. The title of this website assures you that even if you disagree with my opinions one thing is for certain, I bloody love food.
⭐ ⭐ There is nothing wrong with the flavours they have tried to combine for each of their burgers, each one well thought out, but there needs to be much more finesse in what they do for this to truly be somewhere worth going.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Berners tavern is billed as just one of these restaurants. Jason Atherton's venture is so popular reservations had to be made over two months in advance. It is no surprise that when the day arrived I could barely contain my excitement.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Honest Burger is the burgeoning brand taking over London. They promise simplicity, creativity and above all an exceptional burger.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Chicken Liquor is a restaurant that London sorely needed and it has come along at just the right time. With the gourmet burger market becoming saturated people are crying out for the next big thing. Some have bet on pizza, such as the delicious Franco Manca, yet it is only now that people are starting to realise the potential of wings.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ The design takes advantage of the light from the 3 glass walls with pine furniture and a white colour scheme. The room is bright yet welcoming.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I had prepared for a special evening, and as yet had not been disappointed. The rich wooden interiors transporting me back in time, glamorous yet understated. Downstairs the bar was something from the 1920s. Everything about Hawksmoor was screaming quality, the large thick hammered metal bar and the unique atmospheric lighting.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ My nostrils flared as they picked up the sweet pizza aroma. A delicious mix of fresh bread, tangy tomato and creamy cheese.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ The burgers came wrapped in P&B branded paper, no plates necessary. This is gourmet fast food. The first bite was wonderful after all the wait and the hunger having set in.
